Mellarius settling tanks are designed for beekeepers who want to work hygienically, safely and without unnecessary losses in the honey house. Honey is naturally hygroscopic, easily absorbs moisture from the air and can take on surrounding odors. That's why the sealing lid is a key element – it helps keep honey protected and stable in quality from fresh extraction to filling into jars.

Durable Construction for Daily Operation in the Honey House

The tanks are made of polished food-grade stainless steel, which is suitable for long-term contact with honey and is easy to maintain. Material thickness of 0.8 to 1 mm increases resistance to denting during normal handling. Individual parts are precisely joined by modern plasma welding. Smooth, polished surfaces facilitate washing and disinfection, which you'll appreciate especially after honey harvest. For comfortable carrying, the tanks are equipped with sturdy stainless steel handles.

ProLine: Reliable Sealing and Clean Bottling Without Dripping

The ProLine series is ready for trouble-free bottling: the tank has a welded thread for secure hive box of the gate valve (both nylon and stainless steel) and thus ensures a stable connection without unwanted leakage. The lid is designed as a solid sealing lid with food-safe silicone gasket. The lid is secured with strong hooks, so it stays in place during handling and helps create a truly tight seal of the contents.

Variable Assembly: Strainers, Stands and Precise Dispensing

You can easily supplement the tank with accessories that will speed up work and make the entire process more precise. Stainless steel strainers are available precisely for the upper rim of the tank in three variants (coarse, fine, ultra fine). Strainers can be combined and stacked on top of each other, so you can create an effective assembly for capturing wax and impurities in one step. We also offer stainless steel stands that create enough space under the outlet for comfortable jar filling. For even more precise work, tanks can be fitted with discharge valves mounted on the stainless steel outlet gate – ideal for dispensing without unnecessary losses.
