When treating bee colonies and working with beekeeping preparations, safety always comes first. Whether you are carrying out autumn treatments or applying evaporation solutions, the Moldex 7002 half mask helps protect your respiratory system from unwanted vapours and particles. Important notice – filter selection
Please note: the package includes only the half mask body (facepiece). Filters are not included and must be selected and purchased separately according to the specific use:
- For working in dusty environments and protection against fine mist: choose particulate filters (class P3).
- For working with beekeeping solutions: use gas filters (e.g. ABEK1) for protection against organic and inorganic vapours and gases.
Construction and design
The Moldex 7002 half mask has an ergonomic shape in a grey-blue design. The facepiece is designed to follow the contours of the face closely and ensure a reliable seal (see usage guidelines below). The harness distributes pressure evenly so the mask does not press on the nose or cheeks. The exhalation valve directs the airflow downwards, which helps reduce fogging of glasses during work.
Guidelines for proper use
Before each use, check the mask for cleanliness and integrity. For a proper seal, you must be clean-shaven along the sealing line – a beard or stubble can impair the fit and significantly reduce (or completely negate) the protective effect. After work, clean the mask and store it in a sealed container away from direct sunlight.

The basic version comes without filters, and the half mask must be fitted with the appropriate filters.
Straps can be attached to or released from the facepiece – the mask can be worn hanging around the neck during breaks.
