ApiFarma is a natural probiotic preparation for disinfection of equipment, hives, entire frames including bees, and clothing. It displaces pathogenic microflora and provides good living conditions at the site of application. It increases resistance to the development of diseases (especially mycoses).
ApiFarma is a dark liquid microbiological concentrate designed for beekeeping, hive hygiene, and supplementing the feeding regime of honey bee colonies. It is produced based on probiotic mother cultures SCD ProBio Original®, cane molasses, and selected beneficial microorganisms. The preparation was developed by Mgr. Ing. Wanda Huk in cooperation with the Lower Silesian Regional Center of Microorganisms. When diluted with non-chlorinated water, it helps create a more favorable microbial environment inside the hive and gently supports the vitality of bee colonies.

A healthy and strong colony is the foundation of a successful season, good spring buildup, and trouble-free overwintering. ApiFarma supports the natural balance of microorganisms in the hive environment, helps limit the development of undesirable microflora, and contributes to improving the condition of weakened colonies. With regular use, it can help extend the lifespan of worker bees, improve feed utilization, and reduce the risk of problems associated with spoiled sugar syrup.
Preparation for overwintering and spring period: 100–150 ml of ApiFarma per colony.
Summer period: 50 ml of ApiFarma per colony.
Drinking water: 2 liters of ApiFarma per 100 liters of non-chlorinated water.
Always add the preparation to cooled feed syrup or clean non-chlorinated water to avoid weakening the live probiotic cultures.

For routine sanitization, prepare a solution at a ratio of 100–250 ml of ApiFarma per 5 liters of non-chlorinated water. This amount is sufficient for treating approximately 20 colonies. Apply the solution by spraying into the interior of the hive, onto the frames, and if necessary onto the entire brood nest including the bees. A pressure sprayer is recommended for application.
For more intensive cleaning, use a dosage of 0.5 liters of ApiFarma per 3 liters of non-chlorinated water, sufficient for approximately 10 hives. Before application, remove mechanical impurities and then spray the inner walls of the hive, frames, areas showing signs of mold, affected brood, and beekeeping tools. The solution can also be used to treat hives before installing nucleus colonies.
ApiFarma contains live microorganisms, therefore do not mix it with chemical plant protection products, artificial fertilizers, aggressive detergents, or industrial cleaning agents. Use only non-chlorinated or well-settled water for dilution. Do not apply in extreme temperatures or in direct sunlight. Store in a dark and cool place out of reach of children. After opening, we recommend keeping the preparation refrigerated.
