What makes the OPTIMA Line suit stand out

Face and neck protection without compromise: The hat features double rings that keep the mesh at a sufficient distance from the face to minimize the risk of stings through the net. The back part of the hat is made of sturdy fabric and protects the nape. The hat attaches to the suit with a heavy-duty zipper; in the neck area, it is additionally equipped with a protective flap with velcro, which helps prevent bees from getting under the clothing.

Practical details for working with bees: The suit accounts for what beekeepers commonly carry with them. There are two side pockets and one chest pocket with velcro – for hive tool, bee brush, queen marking pen, or phone. There's also a hanging loop and elastic gathering on the sleeves and legs, which helps the garment fit better and stay in place even during woodenday work.

Material and recommended care

The suit is made of material composed of 65% polyester and 35% cotton (shade and weight may vary slightly depending on current supply). This combination offers good durability, easy maintenance, and long lifespan with regular use in the apiary. The product comes with a 24-month warranty.

How to care for the suit: After detaching the hat, the suit can be machine washed at 40–60°C and tumble dried on low speed. We recommend ironing through fabric or with steam up to max. 150°C. The hat is better hand washed up to 40°C, or machine washed in a laundry bag (available for purchase). Do not bleach, do not wring forcefully, and do not dry in direct sunlight so the material retains its properties.
