It is precisely adapted for the Liebig Zander hive system. After placing it in the hive (most commonly under the inner cover), bees naturally seal the small gaps with propolis to reduce drafts and seal the space. The result is quality propolis without splinters, dirt, and unnecessary wax residues from frames.

How to Get Maximum Yield from the Grid

Propolis collection expands the possibilities of using bee products – whether you process it for your own use (tinctures, ointments, natural cosmetics), or offer it for resale. The proven procedure is very simple: once the grid is filled, remove it from the hive and place it in the freezer for a short time. The propolis becomes brittle when cooled and by gently bending the grid, it simply crumbles out of the openings. This gives you high yield with minimal effort.
