This hive is suitable for 10 German standard frames in cold configuration. It is made of 20mm thick wood and multiply glued. The stability is further supported by a rabbet joint at the corner connection. Two slats attached to the bottom prevent the supers from slipping. Two handle slats ensure very good handling. Wood exposed to weather should always be treated with a protective coating.
