Do you need to save time and effort when extracting honey, but still want to stay with a compact and easily manageable device? The Lysoň electric honey extractor from the BASIC LINE series is a practical choice for beginner and experienced beekeepers with small to medium-sized apiaries. Thanks to the electric drive, strenuous manual turning is eliminated and extraction proceeds smoothly and gently on the honeycomb.

The foundation of the extractor is a stainless steel drum with a diameter of 60 cm, inside which is a basket with four cassettes. The cassettes are manually reversible – after extracting one side of the combs, you stop the extractor and simply turn the cassettes by hand, without unnecessary removal of frames. The result is faster work and less risk of damaging fragile capped combs.

Universal Use and Smooth Electric Drive

A great advantage of this model is its wide compatibility with frame sizes. The cassettes measuring 44 × 30.5 cm safely accommodate the most commonly used frames in the Czech Republic and abroad. You can easily extract frames 39×17, 39×24 ("Czechoslovak"), 39×27.5, 39×30, Langstroth frames (approx. 137–285 mm), Optimal 42×17 and 42×27.5, Dadant and others. With smaller frames (e.g., 39×15), you can often insert two pieces into one cassette.

Comfortable operation is provided by a 120 W motor powered from a standard 230 V mains supply. The MDD-01 control with rotary potentiometer allows smooth speed regulation, which you will appreciate especially when extracting thicker honey – the start is gradual and minimizes the risk of tearing or collapsing the comb. The transmission is belt-driven, and the motor is safely mounted on the upper crossbar of the extractor.

Stainless Steel Construction, Stability and Safe Operation

The extractor is made of acid-resistant stainless steel with a thickness of 0.6 mm and meets hygienic requirements for food contact. The construction is reinforced with a cross brace and stands on stable, powder-coated legs. The upper part is protected by a transparent metaplex cover (3 mm plexiglass) – it allows monitoring of extraction while preventing honey splashing and preventing impurities from entering the drum.

The equipment includes PVC pads under the legs, which improve stability and reduce vibration transfer to the floor with uneven basket loading (for example, when frames have different amounts of honey). For convenient honey draining, the extractor is equipped with a 6/4" valve.
