Plastic Hive Stand for 1 Hive

This plastic hive stand with dimensions of 440 × 530 mm and a height of 150 mm is designed for a single hive setup. Thanks to its wide upper rim, various types of hives can be securely seated on it. It is particularly practical for use at permanent outdoor apiary sites as well as in bee houses.

Why Place a Hive on a Stand

Elevating the hive above the ground helps protect both the bee colony and the hive itself from adverse environmental conditions. The 150 mm height creates sufficient clearance from the ground and limits moisture penetration into the hive bottom board. This reduces the risk of mold growth, rotting of wooden components, and premature wear of the hive. The hive setup is also better protected from morning dew, ground-level cold, and certain crawling pests.

Durable Stand with No Demanding Maintenance
