Quality queen excluder in lot of sizes. Molded, not stamped, leaving no rough edges to harm your bees.
Get clean honey without brood and organize your work in the hive thanks to the queen excluder made of high-quality rigid yellow plastic. The excluder serves to effectively separate the brood chamber and honey super – the queen cannot get through it into the honey super combs, so virgin comb intended for nectar storage remains in the honey super. The result is honey without larvae, pupal skins and unnecessary impurities, and at the same time easier extraction.
Compared to thin pressed films, this excluder is cast from rigid plastic with a thickness of 1.9–2.0 mm. Thanks to this, it maintains its shape, does not twist or bend even at higher temperatures in the hive. The material used is food-safe and suitable for contact with food, which is essential when working with honey.
The passages through the excluder have rounded edges so that bees do not suffer unnecessary abrasions when moving between supers. Worker bees pass through smoothly even with loads of nectar and pollen, without risk of wing damage or hair loss. The excluder thus does not unnecessarily "obstruct" the bees and supports calm operation of the colony.
The queen excluder is intended primarily for Langstroth hives and you can also use it with a number of non-standard setups. The advantage of cast plastic is easy modification – the excluder can be precisely cut to the required size if needed. Even after shortening, it remains strong, does not fray and maintains its shape.
