Stainless steel frame wire made especially for the bee industry. Non-rusting and great tensile strength.
Do you want reliable material for wiring frames that will last for years and won't cause problems during work? Stainless steel beekeeping wire with 0.4 mm diameter is a universal choice for most commonly used frames. Thanks to stainless steel, it resists the humid environment in the hive, doesn't corrode and is gentle on the comb. It can easily handle repeated boiling of frames during wax processing without worry.
An unwound spool can delay more than the actual wiring itself. This is solved simply here: the wire is stored in a plastic box with a dispensing opening. You pull out only as much as you need, cut it off and the rest stays safely stored inside. The wire doesn't get knotted, doesn't fall on the ground and is immediately ready for the next frame.
The wire is shiny and pleasantly malleable, so it's easy to work with. At the same time, it's sufficiently strong and resistant to breaking when tensioning. The 0.4 mm diameter is ideal for embedding foundation – the wire "bites" well into the wax and helps keep the comb stable even during extraction.
It also finds use outside beekeeping: it's suitable in workshops, for small repairs, for tying and arranging or for various decorations.
With frames, wire quality shows up quickly: it affects the strength of the comb, ease of work and frame longevity. We recommend using beekeeping wires made of stainless steel or tinned wire – they behave predictably and long-term in the hive environment. With this wire, wiring will be faster, cleaner and without unnecessary complications.
