Do you want your homemade preserves to be securely sealed and look really attractive at the same time? The TO 82 screw-on lid featuring a rustic fruit motif on a natural background, complemented by delicate lace and a purple ribbon, is an excellent choice for anyone who values both quality canning and a polished appearance of their jars. Thanks to its decorative design, it transforms an ordinary jar of jam, compote, or pickled vegetables into a beautiful homemade product that also makes a great gift.

The lid is made of high-quality lacquered tinplate and fitted with an inner sealing layer designed for food contact. With a temperature resistance of up to 105 °C, it is suitable for pasteurizing common homemade delicacies such as jams, marmalades, compotes, vegetable mixes, mushrooms, or sweet-and-sour brines. A properly fitted lid helps preserve the taste, aroma, and quality of the canned contents for a long time.
The TO 82 RTS closure is one of the most widely used sizes for classic canning jars, for example those with a volume of 720 ml. The Twist Off system allows easy and quick sealing with just a simple turn, which is especially appreciated when processing larger harvests. The decorative fruit motif with lace also gives the jars a rustic look without the need for additional decoration with fabric caps or ribbons.

| Closure type | Twist Off, screw-on |
| Lid diameter | 82 mm, TO 82 |
| Profile | RTS, Regular Twist Off with Step |
| Temperature resistance | up to 105 °C, suitable for pasteurization |
| Motif | fruit, rustic style with lace |
| Material | lacquered tinplate with BPA-free food-grade sealing compound |
| Suitable for | fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, jams, marmalades, honey, and homemade delicacies |

Before fitting, we recommend briefly warming the lid in warm water at approximately 40–60 °C. The sealing compound will soften and adhere better to the jar neck. After pasteurization and cooling, check whether the center of the lid has slightly concaved inward – this indicates that a vacuum has formed inside the jar and the contents are properly sealed. Always use clean, dry, and undamaged lids for canning.
