Need to process larger quantities of beeswax quickly and efficiently? The large-capacity stainless steel Max melter makes it easy to render wax from whole frames, cut-out old combs, old wax, and drone comb. It uses steam generated by a powerful gas burner, which is included in the package.
Thanks to the spacious basket, whole frames can be loaded into the unit without the tedious process of cutting out combs. The melter is therefore particularly suitable for beekeepers who regularly process larger amounts of wax material and want to save time and physical effort.

The unit consists of a durable stainless steel water tank and a large inner basket designed for frames or cut-out wax. The gas burner heats the bottom of the tank and produces hot steam, which gradually melts the wax.
Cocoon remnants from brood and other solid impurities are caught by the sieve at the bottom of the basket. The melted wax continuously flows out through the drain outlet into a prepared container.
The hot steam exposure during rendering also helps to heat-treat the wooden frames and reduce the presence of pathogens. Cut-out wax or drone comb can also be added in reasonable quantities alongside whole frames, making efficient use of wax material obtained during hive management.

The Max melter holds approximately 100 frames per working cycle on average. The actual capacity depends on the frame size used, the arrangement, and the amount of added wax.
