Large Bee Waterer and Feeder for TO 100 Jars

Provide bees and other beneficial pollinators with safe and consistent access to water throughout the entire season. Bees need water to cool the hive during hot weather, prepare brood food, and for the overall functioning of the colony. The large XL waterer allows you to create a practical source of water or feed solution in the garden, at the apiary, near the hives, or on a balcony.

Safe Bee Watering Without the Risk of Drowning

The waterer's design is engineered with the safety of bees and other insects in mind. The landing surface, featuring a honeycomb-like texture and small pebbles, provides support upon landing and reduces the risk of slipping into the liquid. Bees can stand on a solid surface and comfortably collect water or feed solution from the edges of the dish. The distinctive color design also helps them locate the source more easily.

Waterer and Feeder in One

The product can be used as a waterer with clean water or as a practical feeder for dispensing sugar syrup or syrup solution. It is useful, for example, for supporting spring colony development or for replenishing stores. Expanded clay pellets or small stones can be added to the bottom dish to create additional safe landing surfaces for insects.

Durable Material and Easy Maintenance

The waterer is manufactured using modern 3D printing technology from a sturdy thermoplastic resistant to UV radiation, rain, and normal temperature fluctuations. Sufficiently thick walls ensure stability even when using a large-volume jar. The product is dishwasher safe, making regular cleaning easy and helping maintain proper hygiene. The material used is recyclable.

Compatible with Large TO 100 Jars

The XL version is designed for preserving jars with a TO 100 (Twist Off) closure. A suitable choice is, for example, a pickle-type jar with a capacity of 3680 ml. A large supply of water or feed solution reduces the frequency of refilling and makes bee care easier.

Use is simple: fill the jar with water, sugar syrup, or syrup solution, screw the waterer onto the jar in place of the lid, and carefully turn the entire assembly upside down. Then place it on a flat and stable surface, ideally in the shade or near the hives.
