Uncompromising Protection Against Bee Stings

Reliable protection is crucial for beekeeping clothing. The veil of this jacket effectively protects the head and neck from stings. Thanks to double hoops, it keeps the mesh at a safe distance from the face, while the back part of the veil consists of a combination of sturdy fabric and ventilation mesh for better air circulation. In the neck area, the jacket is equipped with a practical flap with velcro closure, which helps prevent bees from getting under the garment. Elastic cuffs along with thumb holes prevent sleeves from riding up, so the forearms remain protected even when handling supers and frames.

Comfort When Working with Bees Even in Hot Summer

Bees are most often tended on sunny and warm days, which is why the jacket is made from durable yet breathable material (weight 185 g/m²). The blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton promotes heat dissipation, is comfortable to wear, and maintains its shape well even with frequent use. Practical pockets allow you to keep common tools at hand, such as a hive tool or bee brush: two spacious pockets in the belly area and two chest pockets (right one with zipper for secure storage, left one with quick velcro closure). There is also a hanging loop for easy hanging and the option to completely detach the veil.

Maintenance and Garment Care

To ensure the jacket serves you reliably for many seasons, we recommend always detaching the veil before washing. The jacket itself can be machine washed at up to 40°C and tumble dried on low speed. Wash the veil by hand at up to 40°C, or in the washing machine in a protective laundry bag. Do not bleach or wring the beekeeping garment, and ideally dry it hanging freely away from direct midday sun. If necessary, the jacket can be ironed through a protective cloth or using steam ironing.
