The blue beekeeping suit from the Color Line collection is designed for comfortable and safe work with bee colonies – whether you're managing a few hives in your garden or spending entire days at the apiary. The light, cooler shade appears less conspicuous than dark colors, which can contribute to calmer work when handling the hive. The fabric blend with a weight of 185 g/m² is lightweight and breathable, effectively dissipates heat and helps maintain comfort even during summer inspections.

Reliable Sting Protection

The most important aspect is head and neck protection. The suit is equipped with a removable hat with double hoops that keep the mesh at a safe distance from the face. The mesh also ensures good visibility and adequate ventilation. At the neck, there is a securing flap with velcro closure that helps prevent bees from entering under the garment during work and when bending forward.

Practical Design for Everyday Apiary Work

Dressing and undressing is made easier by a sturdy front zipper. The sleeves and pant legs are finished with elastic cuffs to prevent the fabric from riding up and to maintain a good seal. At the waist, there is additional elastic gathering for better body fit. For increased durability when kneeling by the hives, reinforced double-layer material is used at the knees. You'll also appreciate the well-thought-out pockets: two side pockets, a narrow vertical pocket on the right pant leg (practical for a hive tool), and two chest pockets – one with a zipper and one with velcro – for example, for a phone, keys, or notes. There are also two loops for convenient hanging of both the suit and hat.

Care and Composition

The suit is sewn with emphasis on long durability and comes with a 24-month warranty. The material composition of 65% polyester and 35% cotton ensures shape stability and easy maintenance. Washing: Remove the hat before washing. The suit can be machine washed at up to 40°C and tumble dried on low heat. We recommend hand washing the hat at up to 40°C, or machine washing in a protective laundry bag. Do not bleach, do not wring, dry hanging away from direct sunlight. We recommend ironing through a cloth or using steam.
