Important Component of Varroa Floors and Mite Drop Monitoring

The mesh is most commonly used in manufacturing screened (varroa) bottom boards. Thanks to the mesh size of 3.15 × 3.15 mm, natural and treatment-induced Varroa destructor mite drop falls through to the bottom board. Bees cannot reach the mites through the screen, giving you an overview of infestation levels while supporting colony hygiene without unnecessary intervention in the combs.
