The goose wing feather is a proven tool for gentle brushing of bees from frames and combs. It has been used in beekeeping for centuries and many beekeepers are returning to it today – precisely for its simplicity, effectiveness and gentleness towards bees. The length of the wing is approximately 47 cm.
Gentle to Bees, Calmer Work at the Hives
The main advantage of the natural goose wing is its exceptional softness. Compared to common brushes made of synthetic or coarser fibers, goose feathers are significantly gentler to bees – they do not injure bees, do not catch them and do not unnecessarily agitate them. Brushing is less stressful for the colony, so it remains calmer and work at the apiary is more comfortable and safer.

During honey harvest and longer work at the hives, you will appreciate the low weight. The goose wing is naturally very light, and therefore saves your hand and wrist even when brushing a large number of frames. Thanks to its length of over 40 cm, you can easily cover a large area of the comb and remove bees with a quick, precise stroke.
