Crystallization is a natural property of honey. However, before bottling, it is often necessary to gently warm the honey and return it to a liquid state. The ApiNord® MERKUR heating cable with integrated temperature control enables controlled liquefying without unwanted overheating. This way, the honey better retains its taste, aroma, and valuable natural substances.
Practical and Versatile Use
The heating cable with an output of 85 W can be easily wrapped around a honey container and used for its even heating. It is suitable for containers with a diameter of up to 30 cm. It can also be used to build a simple liquefying box, for example from polystyrene supers or a discarded refrigerator. A well-insulated space helps maintain heat and reduces the costs of honey liquefying.
A Helper for Creamed Honey Production
When producing creamed honey, it is important to maintain the proper temperature and consistency. If the creaming equipment does not have its own heating, the ApiNord® MERKUR heating cable can be a suitable addition. The 3-metre length allows comfortable handling and wrapping around larger containers. The beekeeper thus gains better control over honey preparation before bottling into jars.
