Langstroth Jumbo Super (285 mm) with Finger Joints

All-wooden super for Langstroth hive systems. Quality supers that are an ideal compromise between price and quality. They are made from 25 mm thick wood. Thanks to the use of finger joints, the connections are very strong even without using screws or glue. The supers have milled handholds on the sides for easier handling.

These supers are delivered unassembled, and their assembly takes only a few dozen seconds. To assemble them, you will only need a hammer; due to the dovetail joint, it is not necessary to glue or screw the supers. To increase strength and durability, you can glue the joints with a suitable adhesive for outdoor use (preferably D4 wood dispersion glue).

The Langstroth hive is among the most widespread hives around the world. The sizes of individual supers are standardized. This super has external dimensions of 425x515 mm, with a height of 295 mm. The internal dimensions of the super are 375x465 mm, with a height of 278 mm.

Supers with finger joints are delivered unassembled. They do not have pre-drilled entrance holes. These are supers produced in large series; occasionally, cosmetic defects (chipped edge, crack) may occur that do not affect the function and lifespan of the super.
