Honey Tank and Settling Tank Mellarius MaxiLine with Sealing Lid and Sloped Bottom

Looking for a reliable honey container that can handle more than just storage? Mellarius MaxiLine is a thoughtful solution for beekeepers that functions as both a honey tank and settling tank in one. Thanks to the sloped bottom, the container is easy to clean, simplifies work during honey extraction and helps minimize losses – honey flows naturally to the outlet, so you can use every single drop. An ideal choice for operations where hygiene, durability and long service life matter.

Food-grade Stainless Steel and Easy Maintenance

MaxiLine containers are made from quality food-grade stainless steel with thickness of 0.8 to 1 mm, which resists denting well during normal handling in the apiary or honey house. Joints are made using modern plasma welding and the surface is smooth and polished for best cleanliness maintenance and to prevent dirt accumulation. Practical details also include solid stainless steel handles for comfortable and safe carrying.

Sloped Bottom – Honey Flows Out Completely

A great advantage of this series is the sloped bottom. While containers with flat bottoms often require tilting, here gravity does the work. The bottom construction naturally directs honey toward the outlet valve, making honey extraction easier and subsequent container cleaning effortless.

Practical 2-in-1: Honey Extraction and Settling

Thanks to two welded stainless steel valves and included conical strainer, the container can also serve as a full-featured settling tank.

The principle is simple:
You insert the stainless steel conical strainer into the container and let honey flow through it. Small impurities and wax particles gradually separate and rise to the surface. The upper valve serves for convenient draining of clean, settled honey, while the lower valve at the lowest point of the sloped bottom allows complete emptying of the container. For even more precise filtration, you can purchase strainers of various mesh sizes (coarse, fine, ultra fine) that fit perfectly into the system.

Sealing Lid for Safe Storage and Transport

MaxiLine is equipped with a lid featuring silicone gasket that seals well to the container rim. The lid is secured with sturdy clamps, so it stays reliably in place. You'll appreciate this during storage (protecting honey from moisture, dust and insects) and during transport, when there's no risk of accidental lid loosening.

Variants, Accessories and Compatibility

The two-valve model is available in capacities of 25 kg, 35 kg and 50 kg (by honey quantity). The system is modular – you can purchase suitable stainless steel stands for the containers that create sufficient space under the outlet, as well as precise gate valves for comfortable and clean jar filling directly from the valve.
