Honey extractor with container Mellarius OptiLine 3 frames with 230V electric drive P52
Sold out
Tangential honey extractor for three frames with its own container and strainer. The basket width is 34 cm, so the extractor is suitable for most frames or two shallow supers. The advantage of this solution is the integrated strainer and container, where in one device you get everything needed for extracting, straining, and collecting honey.
Tangential honey extractor for three frames with its own container and strainer. The extractor is firmly connected to the container using clamps. Between the extractor and the container is a large strainer with a diameter of 52 cm. The basket width is 34 cm, so the extractor is suitable for most frames. The advantage of this solution is the integrated strainer and container, giving you everything needed for extracting, straining, and collecting honey in one device.
About Mellarius OptiLine honey extractors
Mellarius OptiLine honey extractors offer a full-featured honey extractor in high-quality design at a favorable price. These extractors are made from thicker stainless steel sheets (0.8 to 1 mm). A wide range of manual and electric extractors in tangential or radial variants.
Modern construction
Mellarius OptiLine extractors have a modern design, with removable legs. The extractor drum is made of food-grade stainless steel of sufficient thickness (0.8 to 1 mm) to prevent unwanted dents. The entire construction of the extractors is manufactured using plasma welding. The design emphasizes smooth surfaces that are easy to clean.
The extractor baskets are made with a denser network of stainless steel wires, which distributes the force on the honeycomb during extraction over a larger area, preventing the wires from cutting into the comb. Round bars resistant to twisting are used to manufacture the baskets. Round surfaces without sharp edges are also easier to clean.
Easy disassembly
The drive system is always located in the upper part of the extractor, providing easy maintenance. With this solution, the extractor basket is freely placed on a ball bearing at the bottom. The drive is mounted on a clamping bar, which also features wide hinges for plexiglass covers. The clamping bar with the drive is sufficiently robust, again made of polished stainless material for easy maintenance. After removing the upper bar with the drive, which is attached with two star screws, the entire drive can be easily removed. You can also easily remove the entire basket from the extractor for thorough cleaning of both parts separately.
Proven drive with adjustable speed
Maxima series extractors are equipped with a reliable electric motor with sufficient power of 110 W. These motors have their own fan for better cooling. The motor includes a robust manual system for continuous speed regulation. The transfer of motor power to the extractor basket is ensured by a mechanical gearbox for optimal extraction speed range.
The motor allows for speed changes and thus changing the direction of rotation of the entire basket, which increases comfort during extraction. Bees tend to build cells at a slight upward angle (4° to 5°) to prevent stored honey from flowing out, and this stored honey ensures certain stability of the comb. For beekeepers, this has a disadvantage because when the honeycomb is placed in the extractor, the cells point in one direction, and if this direction is against the direction of rotation, the honey flows out poorly and some honey reserves may remain in the combs. Therefore, it is advantageous to have an extractor with the possibility of bidirectional extraction.
