Nectar-bearing Harmony Mix for Bees, Annual Type 2 – 1 kg
Do you want to ensure a steady nectar flow for your bee colonies, support their condition and at the same time help yourself to better honey yield? Annual nectar-bearing Harmony mix (type 2) is a well-thought-out combination of five distinctly melliferous and pollen-bearing plants. It will transform an open area into attractive pasture for bees and other pollinators, especially in summer, when flowering often declines and a dearth period threatens.

Mix Composition and Role of Individual Crops
The mix is composed to provide bees with abundant nectar and quality pollen throughout the growing season. Each plant in the stand fulfills its function:
Common Buckwheat (40%): Germinates quickly and forms the main foundation of the stand. It offers bees intensive nectar flow and can contribute to the creation of typical darker buckwheat honey with a higher content of minerals. It attracts bees most especially in the morning hours, when it usually produces nectar most abundantly.
Crimson Clover (Incarnate) (20%): A conspicuously flowering species with a rich supply of nectar and valuable pollen, which is important for feeding bee brood. At the same time, it acts as useful green manure – it helps improve soil conditions and enriches the soil with nitrogen.
Phacelia (16%): One of the most sought-after melliferous plants. Its flowers provide large amounts of nectar and characteristic blue pollen, and bees visit it throughout the day. The stand also contributes to improving soil structure and helps reduce weed infestation.
Yellow Sweet Clover (12%): An undemanding and resilient crop that handles even drier conditions well. It helps maintain food supply during summer heat periods, when other species often produce nectar weakly.
Red Clover (12%): A traditional meadow species with a longer flowering period. Under favorable weather conditions, it can offer bees accessible nectar and thus expands the nectar flow supply in the stand.
Why Choose Harmony Mix from a Beekeeper's Perspective
By sowing the mix, you will obtain a reliable source of nectar and pollen at a time when nectar flow in the surrounding landscape may fluctuate. Well-fed colonies tend to be more vital, develop better, handle stress periods more easily, and create better conditions for successful overwintering. The mix also has a practical impact on the land – it functions as green manure, helps protect the soil, retain moisture, and partially suppress weed growth.
