Effectiveness and Use

Nozevit serves as both a preventive and supportive preparation for bee colonies weakened by nosemosis. It promotes cleansing of the bee intestines, increases vitality and longevity of bees, and helps improve resistance during periods of increased stress or infection. It is suitable both for prevention in the spring and autumn periods, as well as for treating already weakened or heavily infected bee colonies.

Dosage and Methods of Use

• Added to feed (sugar syrup 1:1):
  Mix 1 ml of Nozevit into 200–330 ml of sugar syrup and administer in a feeder (the usual dose is 20 drops per one feeding portion per hive). Apply to the bee colony twice at 10-day intervals – ideally in spring and at the beginning of autumn.

• In pollen patty:
  Add 1 ml of Nozevit to 500 g of pollen patty or paste (can be administered together with a pollen substitute).

• By spraying:
  Add 1 ml of Nozevit to 200 ml of sugar syrup and spray this solution onto the bees sitting on the frames and in the bee spaces. Ideally apply at temperatures above 15 °C.

Special Recommendations for Infected Colonies

For bee colonies with a more severe nosemosis infection, apply Nozevit a total of 4 times at 4-day intervals, using 1/3 litre of solution per application according to the chosen method of use (feeding, spraying). Always shake the preparation well before use!

Safety, Storage and Consumption

• Store in a cool and dark place. After opening, store in a refrigerator (2–5 °C) and use within 60 days.

• The preparation does not reduce honey quality and has no negative impact on any further processing of bee products.

• The 200 ml package is sufficient for dozens of treatments depending on the method of application. Approximate consumption: 1 ml per application per bee colony.
