Swarm catching scent containing queen bee pheromone that attracts bees to settle at the application site.
Instructions for using the swarm catching gel. Apply a thin layer of about 8 cm (approximately 10g)
of gel to the entrance
(hive entrance). Place the hive, into which you want to transfer the swarm, in a sunny location about
50 cm above the ground. Place one or two combs inside. The attractant scent lasts approximately 10-15 days and bees can "smell and locate" it from a
distance of up to 2 km. The purpose of this swarm attraction is easy collection of your own swarms, which often
settle in inaccessible places. This paste can also be used for
attracting and destroying foreign swarms, as they can be a source of disease. It is important to
realize that swarms often bother your neighbors.
