Do you need reliable performance, speed, and gentle handling of combs when extracting honey? This radial, electric, all-stainless-steel honey extractor with a 60 cm drum diameter from the OPTIMA/CLASSIC LINE range is designed for beekeepers with a larger number of colonies. It significantly speeds up the honey harvesting process, reduces physical effort, and thanks to its hygienic stainless steel construction, it is suitable for safe honey processing.

High Performance and Gentle Extraction Without Damaging the Comb

The radial design is one of the most efficient methods of honey extraction. The frames are arranged radially around the perimeter of the drum basket, so honey is extracted from both sides of the comb simultaneously. The centrifugal force is applied evenly, the beeswax comb does not break unnecessarily, and the combs remain in good condition for further use. A major advantage is that there is no need to manually turn the frames during the cycle – saving you both time and effort. The extractor holds up to 20 frames with a width of up to 14.5 cm (suitable e.g. for Dadant 1/2, Langstroth 1/2, and other similar sizes). Thanks to the simpler design without complex cassettes, the unit is robust and reliable in the long term.

Automation You Can Customize to Suit Your Honey and Practice

The drive is powered by a quiet electric motor (24 V/250 W) located at the bottom beneath the drum and connected to the basket via a proven belt drive. The power supply is very practical: you can use 230 V in the honey house, as well as 12 V when extracting directly at the apiary without access to mains power. The SDD-2DP microprocessor speed controller offers 8 programs – two for manual mode, one manufacturer-optimized program, and five programs that you can configure to your own needs (each cycle with up to 7 steps). You can easily adjust the speed and duration of individual phases to match, for example, the viscosity of the honey or the strength of the cappings.

Stainless Steel Construction, Hygienic Standards, and Long Service Life

All parts that come into contact with honey are made of high-quality food-grade, acid-resistant stainless steel 0H18N9. The transparent top cover made of 3 mm Plexiglas allows you to safely monitor the extraction process while also limiting contamination of the surrounding area. PVC vibration-dampening pads are also included in the delivery to reduce vibrations that may occur with uneven distribution of combs in the basket. The honey extractor meets strict requirements and is equipped with CE certification and national hygiene institute certification. High-quality bearings ensure smooth operation even under higher loads.
