Patented System for Even Evaporation

The device works on the principle of controlled and long-term stable evaporation of liquid inside the super. The patented construction ensures smooth and even evaporation for up to 10 or more days (depending on the chosen setting and conditions in the hive), even with fluctuating outdoor temperatures. Stable evaporation process is essential for effective treatment of the bee colony and simultaneously minimizes stress and excessive disturbance to the bees.

Sufficient Volume for Strong Colonies

The evaporator is equipped with a closable container with a volume of 300 ml with a clear scale for checking the fill level. This capacity allows for longer-term action without the need for frequent refilling, which you will appreciate especially with strong production colonies. Assembly and Practical Experience from Beekeeping

Installing the evaporator into an empty frame is simple and can be handled by any beekeeper with common tools. Using the included stainless steel screws, you securely attach the device to a frame with appropriate internal dimensions. We recommend using a solid and well-preserved frame that holds its shape well.

Bees have a natural tendency to seal new elements in the hive with propolis or damage softer materials such as textiles and wicks. For longer device lifespan, it is advisable to protect the absorbent textile and the lower part of the frame with fine beekeeping mesh or screen. This will limit mechanical damage without affecting the evaporation function.
