Excessive moisture can cause fermentation and spoil the honey as well as all the work during the season. The device works on the principle of light refraction (refractive index), which changes according to the density and water content in honey. Package Contents and Simple Use
We supply the refractometer in a sturdy protective case with foam padding for safe transport. The package also includes calibration solution (distilled water), pipette for easy sample application and AAA battery. The device is calibrated for immediate use – just drop a honey sample, start measurement and read the value on the display.
