Langstroth Divider Boards - 420x160 mm - Cold Rolled
Premium quality wax foundation. Cold-processed wax foundation. Foundation is more flexible and unbreakable.
Beeswax Foundation Sheets Langstroth 3/4 (185) – Cold Pressed
Give your bees a reliable base for fast and straight comb building. We offer beeswax foundation sheets from a traditional Czech manufacturer designed for the Langstroth 3/4 frame size (frame height 185 mm). Thanks to cold pressing technology, the foundation sheets are flexible, less brittle, and easy to work with even in cooler weather – you'll appreciate this when wiring and embedding.

Precise dimensions for Langstroth and easy embedding
The foundation sheet measures 420 × 160 mm, which corresponds to the proven Langstroth standard. We recommend embedding it to the top bar of the frame – the bees will naturally build out the bottom gap. A lateral clearance of approximately 1–2 mm on each side makes handling easier and allows the bees smooth movement in the bee spaces.
Czech beeswax, origin control, and sterilization
Colony safety comes first. The foundation sheets are manufactured exclusively from high-quality beeswax sourced in the Czech Republic, and production is carried out under the supervision of the veterinary authority. The wax is sterilized at 117 °C for 1 hour, which reliably eliminates pathogens including American foulbrood spores. Wax purification is carried out solely by physical methods (filtration, sedimentation) – without the use of acids or other chemicals.
The authenticity of the wax is also regularly verified: the foundation sheets are tested for the presence of paraffin at the University of Chemistry and Technology (UCT Prague) using the FTIR method. We are happy to send you the current analysis report upon request.
Consistent thickness, consistent weight, certainty in every package
Thanks to precise manufacturing, the foundation sheets in each package are consistent – uniform thickness and weight across batches. In a 1 kg package you will find approximately 16 sheets, making it easy to plan your consumption throughout the season.
Wax bloom (patina) – a natural sign of genuine beeswax
During prolonged storage, especially in cold conditions, a light coating may appear on the surface – known as wax bloom or patina. This is not mold, but a natural characteristic of genuine beeswax. It has no effect on functionality or on how well the bees accept the foundation sheets. If desired, you can easily remove the patina by briefly warming it (e.g., with a hair dryer) or by short exposure to sunlight.
