What this honey extractor offers in practice

Gentle extraction and protection of comb: The basket is designed so that the frames are held securely and the combs are subjected to as little stress as possible during centrifugation. This is especially appreciated with thicker honeys or during your first extraction experiences – the risk of tearing or breaking combs is reduced. The extracted drawn comb can then be returned to the colony without unnecessary damage.

Electric drive for comfort without a crank: Manual extraction can be tiring when processing multiple supers. This model is equipped with a 24 V / 120 W motor and is powered from a 230 V mains supply. Operation is provided by a manual MDD-01 speed controller with a rotary knob, allowing you to smoothly adjust the rotation speed and easily adapt the extraction to the strength of the combs and the type of honey.

Universal use for common frame sizes: The honey extractor accommodates a wide range of commonly used frames up to a height of 26 cm – for example 39×17, 39×24, Wielkopolska, Ostrowskiej, Optimal 42×17, and various Langstroth sizes (137–232 mm). With a tangential system, the standard extraction procedure involves both sides – after extracting the first side, the frames in the basket are manually turned and extraction continues on the second side.

Construction, hygiene, and safe operation

The honey extractor is designed for working with food products and meets hygiene requirements as well as European standards – it is CE certified. The drum with a diameter of 500 mm is made of 0.6 mm thick stainless steel sheet. The top of the extractor is fitted with a transparent hinged Plexiglas lid (3 mm), which allows you to safely monitor the extraction process.

The package also includes PVC anti-vibration pads for the legs, which help dampen vibrations during uneven basket loading (for example, when frames do not contain the same amount of honey). With a weight of approximately 23 kg, the honey extractor is easy to handle even during storage and cleaning.

Lyson emphasizes practical details: modernized hinges, a plastic flap honey gate 6/4" for convenient honey draining, and a construction that facilitates assembly/disassembly and subsequent maintenance. The honey extractor is delivered in a carton for self-assembly, with assembly wrenches included in the package.
