Metal cover for 3 cm hive. Nice metal cover for outdoor use manufactured according to production specifications from galvanized sheet metal or titanium-zinc sheet metal (both types of metal sheets are used in tinsmithing for outdoor elements). Metal cover with dimensions 53.5 x 53.5 cm and height 6 cm. The metal cover is designed for supers from the 3 cm category. It creates an overhang of approximately 1 cm from the hive wall. The covers are made of ordinary galvanized (or TiZn) sheet metal, therefore for maximum lifespan we recommend choosing some additional surface treatment for the metal, for example, a protective coating, otherwise corrosion may occur. Between the metal cover and the super, insert a crown board foil and some insulation such as felt or polystyrene. This is especially important during the summer period to prevent hives from overheating.

Covers are supplied without insulation.
