Do you need to safely transport sugar solution to the apiary, or reliably seal honey and other beekeeping products? The full plastic lid for classic 4l jars is a practical tool for every beekeeper who works with "pickle jars".
The full lid serves as a closing screw-on lid for commonly used standard four-liter jars with wide mouth. Unlike older metal lids, it doesn't corrode, is easy to keep clean, and with normal use lasts repeatedly for several seasons.
When will it come in handy?
The biggest advantage is safe handling. You prepare the feed solution at home, firmly close the jar and transport it to the apiary site without worry – without unwanted spilling in the car. At the hives, you then simply replace the full lid with a feeding (perforated) lid.
It serves equally well for hermetic sealing of jars with honey, water, syrup, propolis tincture or other liquids. The contents remain protected from moisture, dust and common pests such as ants.
