Beekeeping frame spacers help maintain the correct spacing between frames and make it easier to organise the interior of the hive. This economy pack weighing 1 kg contains approximately 4,200 spacers in various colours. Thanks to the large quantity, you get a practical supply for fitting out many frames without the need for frequent reordering.
Correct spacing and safer hive transport
Frame spacers ensure precise separation and a stable position of individual frames. Their height of 10 mm helps create the necessary bee space, allowing bees to move comfortably between combs. At the same time, they prevent unwanted shifting of frames when handling supers, transporting hives or during migratory beekeeping. They thus help protect both bees and combs from crushing and damage.
Durable design gentle on bees and frames
The spacers are made of high-quality heat-resistant plastic and have a smooth finish with no sharp edges. During normal use, they therefore do not damage wooden frames and are gentle on both bees and the beekeeper. Four pieces are typically used per frame. It is recommended to place them on both sides of the frame at slightly different heights so that they do not catch on each other when turning the frames.
