Reliable Seal Control
The lid features an RSB profile with a central safety button. This serves as a vacuum indicator – after proper pasteurization and cooling, the center of the lid is pulled inward. This allows you to easily check whether the jar is properly sealed and the contents are protected from spoilage.
Suitable for Pasteurizing Vegetables, Sauces, and Compotes
Thanks to its heat resistance up to 105 °C, the lid is suitable for standard home pasteurization. It is perfect for pickled vegetables, mixed pickles, lecho, homemade sauces, marmalades, jams, and fruit compotes. The inner food-grade lacquer helps protect the contents from direct contact with metal and is also suitable for acidic brines.
