Beekeeping Brush for Gentle and Efficient Honey Harvesting
Are you looking for a practical tool that will speed up work at the apiary while being maximally considerate to bees and comb? A quality brush is among the basic equipment for honey harvesting, comb inspection, and routine hive examinations. When used correctly, it helps keep the colony calmer, reduces the risk of crushing bees, and protects delicate wax cappings and comb structure.
Bee Brush (DE)
Bee Brush is a popular tool for gently brushing bees off combs intended for extraction. Thanks to its gentle bristles, it allows safe removal of bees from honey super and brood frames without unnecessary damage to combs and without stressing the colony.
A proven model from a German supplier that has found its place in the equipment of many beekeepers.
Why is this brush suitable for working with bee colonies?
The advantage of this design is the balanced stiffness of the bristles: they are firm enough for effective bee removal in one smooth stroke, yet gentle enough not to damage the wax cappings of honey cells. Quick and safe handling shortens the time the comb is outside the hive, which helps maintain the hive microclimate and makes honey harvesting more efficient. The ergonomically shaped handle also fits comfortably in the hand and holds securely even when working with protective gloves.
