Queen excluders
A queen excluder is a specialized barrier placed between the brood box and honey supers within a bee hive. Its primary function is to restrict the queen bee from moving into honey storage areas, preventing her from laying eggs there. This barrier also blocks drones from accessing the honey chambers while allowing worker bees easy passage. This ensures a clean separation: the queen stays in the lower brood chamber, while beekeeper harvests pure honey from the upper frames. Our product range includes queen excluders in both metal and plastic variants.
