The cover has physical dimensions of 530x530x70 mm, making it suitable primarily for Dadant US 12 R hives, but not only for them. The cover has a slight overhang that does not prevent comfortable placement of hives in a row closely next to each other. The covers have welded edges, which guarantees even greater strength than in the case of soldered joints. Therefore, you don't have to worry about "loose joints". The metal covers are supplied without insulation, if you don't use any other insulated cover, it is important to insert insulation in the form of polystyrene, foam, felt, or other suitable insulation into the cover. Don't forget to also insert inner cover foil between the super and the cover.
